Eddie's Place Restaurant is a North Carolina award-winning neighborhood restaurant and bar. Established in the Cotswold area of Charlotte in 1997, employees worked out of the single location for 8 years. Then in 2005, in response to hearing mounds of positive feedback from their exceptionally loyal customers, Eddie's Place decided to branch out to a second location. The new Eddie's Place restaurant was opened in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte.
As you may have guessed, Eddie's Place Restaurant is co-owned by a guy named Eddie. To be exact, the Charlotte-based restaurant is owned by Eddie Gallant and Judy Spurgeon. Together, they have a combined 38+ years of restaurant management experience between them, and are just as involved as every employee in the day-to-day operations of their business.
Restaurants today are becoming classified by patrons as serving just a single "type of food". In order to break this stereotype, Eddie's Place offers a unique menu, consisting of a blend of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. They are also proud to feature a social bar. Eddie and Judy describe their key to success as a "commitment to consistent quality food combined with good service in a warm, inviting environment."
Flexibility and a fantastic attitude is the heart and soul of Eddie's Place. When asked what he thinks drives his business in becoming successful, Eddie Gallant remarked, "Giving the customer what they want is crucial to our success". The customers at Eddie's Place say that the Charlotte restaurant has an "at home" feel. Customers are able to sample menu items, personally customize their menu choices, and are uniquely remembered by their server after only a few visits. The dedicated employees and management at Eddie's Place continue to place a strong emphasis on delicious food, genuinely friendly service, respectable prices, and a neighborly ambiance. In addition, the Charlotte restaurant's staff is as loyal as the customers, as most of the current staff have worked at Eddie's Place Restaurant for 5 or more years.
Inspired largely by a trip to the South that Eddie took back in the mid 1990's, the menu at Eddie's Place has a distinct splash of New Orleans flavor. The menu combines a Cajun taste with a classic American style. Since 1997, the Cajun-inspired menus have been a huge success in North Carolina. Eddie and Judy's philosophy is to provide customers with what they want; As long as it's in the house, they will do their very best to serve you exactly what you're looking for! In order to continue offering loyal customers new flavors, Eddie's Place makes new additions to the menu at least twice a year.
At Eddie's Place Restaurant, every entrée, appetizer, and dessert is prepared with the freshest ingredients, delivered daily. For the health conscience, the restaurant uses a 0 trans fat soybean oil. Their wide range of menu options, combined with a pleasant neighborhood feel, makes for a very unique dinner experience. The Eddie's Place staff and management pride themselves in customer satisfaction, and make every effort to meet and exceed each customer's expectations.
A few of the famous menu items offered are the She Crab Soup, Gigantic Muffalatta Sandwich, Fried Pickles, and of course the Po-Boys. With many Cajun-inspired entrees and popular weekend brunch specials, Charlotte-based Eddie's Place is THE place to enjoy great food and a great atmosphere! And best of all, you will feel like a regular from the moment you walk through the door.
