The mission of the AHA is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and strokes. Fresh Start Foundation of North Carolina

Founded in December 2009, The Fresh Start Foundation of North Carolina helps struggling single mothers get their lives back on track. Headquartered in Raleigh, NC, the organization greatly assists at least one family per year by providing education, temporary housing, and transportation.  Fresh Start NC aims at supporting families are they build a stable financial and family structure which will hopefully lead to healthy and productive family environments. www.freshstartnc.org

Habitat for Humanity

Make a Wish Foundation

Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. Operation Smile is a children's charity whose medical volunteers provide safe, effective and free cleft lip and cleft palate repair surgery for children born all over the world. Raleigh Rescue Mission

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army was first started in 1879, with its first meeting held in Philadelphia.  This group of religious Salvationists formed the church and organization that we know today.  The Salvation Army has always focused on improving the livelihood of the less-fortunate, via charitable programs such as the Angel Giving Tree program.  Each year, The Salvation Army hosts at least 1200 nationwide collection centers for Angel Giving Tree donations. www.salvationarmyusa.org

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

St Jude Children's Research Hospital was founded in 1962 by Danny Thomas, and focuses primarily on research and treatment of children's cancer.  St. Jude is a non-profit organization which relies almost exclusively on charitable donations to cover operating costs.  St. Jude has an International Outreach Program to improve the survival rates of youth with catastrophic illnesses worldwide through the transfer of knowledge, technology and organizational skills.  TriMark is a perennial contributor to St. Jude. www.stjude.org

Set up by Window World Corporate in 2008, Window World Cares is the window replacement company's foundation used for donations, community outreach programs, and charitable events.  The program matches any donation totals reached by its franchised locations.  Window World Cares is headed by Tammy Whitworth, wife of Window World President Todd Whitworth.  To date, the Window World Huntsville's$40,000 donation match was the highest in Window World Cares History. www.windowworldcares.com
