April Blog 8 of 12: 5 Steps to Quickly Determine Your Google Pagerank

Google ranks websites in search engine results pages according to website Pagerank.  Pagerank is calculated via complex algorithm (Google Magic) determined each time Google spiders index a website.  Each website is given a score from 0 to 10.  Pagerank is also determined based off which sites link to a particular site (which is why Google.com has very little “content” on it, but has millions of inbound links, and therefore a very high Pagerank).  Perfect Pagerank scores of 10/10 are EXTREMELY rare, as less than 150 websites currently hold this score.  Websites with this score are extremely scarce, as they all hold very valuable Continue Reading

Since this is my first blog post, I’ll start out by telling you a little bit about myself. My name is Daniel Hurst & I’m the Director of Search Marketing for TriMark Solutions, which means (among other things) I manage our clients’ SEO.
